Montana State University-Northern head volleyball coach Jerry Wagner has announced the signing of Kadence Wiggins who will join the Skylights program next year.

"I'm excited to add Kadence Wiggins, a middle hitter to the Skylights Volleyball Team." Said Coach Wagner. "Kadence is a player the team and I have come to know and respect for her volleyball IQ and athleticism while playing against her over the years while she was a member of Medicine Hat College volleyball team."
 
Wiggins is a 5-foot-11 middle hitter from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. She transfers from Medicine Hat College, where she played three seasons.

He continues, "This Spring Kadence is making the move for academic reasons from Medicine Hat College to MSU-Northern."
 
In her three years at Medicine Hat College, she has career stats of 253 kills, .548 percentage, 27 aces, 118 digs, and 56 blocks.

"Kandence has already made a strong impression on the team with her positive personality and her highly accomplished level of play."
 
Last season, her team took fifth in the ACAC South Side Division. In 2022-2023 season, Wiggins was named Rookie of the Year. She was voted the Most Valuable Player in 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 season.

"From a volleyball standpoint Kadence brings a wealth of playing experience, athleticism, and a team first attitude."

Kadence also gets it done in the classroom with a 3.84 GPA and received high honors in 2023-2024 and 2024-2025.

"It is fortunate that MSUN matched up with Kadence's academic pursuits that will allow her to eventually earn her Master's degree."
 
When asked why she chose Northern she replied "I chose MSUN because it allows me to finish my degree and continue my passion for volleyball while doing so. The Skylights women's volleyball team and coach Jerry Wagner have been amazing in guiding me through this transition. I am excited to get to know the tight knit community in Havre and play the rest of my eligibility here!"

Kadence is the daughter to Darrin and Tanya Wiggins.
