Skylights Ink Junior Transfer Jersey Vogel

Montana State University women's basketball coach Chris Mouat has announced the signing of Jersey Vogel to join the Skylight program this fall.  Vogel a 5'8" guard, recently completed her freshman season at Dakota College at Bottineau.

This season, Vogel averaged 19.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game.  She shot 39% from the field and 32% from the three-point line.  She also connected on 85% from the free throw line, going 164 for 193 on the season.

Mouat said, "Jersey had a great year at Bottineau.  She can score it at all three levels and we are excited she will be joining us.  We enjoyed her when she visited, and our academics align perfectly with what she is looking to do.  We believe she will be a great fit in our program."

Vogel is a 2025 graduate of Linton High School in Linton, North Dakota.  She was a 1000-point scorer at Linton, and averaged 19.4 points per game as a senior.  She also added 5.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists per game while shooting 46% from the field.  She earned All-State honors in 2025 and helped Linton qualify for the State Class B Tournament, where they finished 6th.

Mouat added, "Jersey gets to the free throw line and is an excellent shooter from there.  She had a ton of free throw attempts last season, and shot 85% at Bottineau and 81% at Linton as a senior in high school.  She also scored in double-figures in 29 of 30 games this season at Bottineau.  We believe she has a bright future in a Skylight uniform."

Vogel plans on majoring in business with an agriculture minor at MSU-Northern.  She is the daughter of Keith and Sarah Vogel.
