Montana State University-Northern finish its rodeo season with solid contributions on both the men's and women's sides.
The Lights finished fifth overall in the men's team race with 160 points, highlighted by a strong showing in team roping. Thomas Champagne and Gavin McLean teamed up to place fourth overall, each posting an 8.9 time as header and heeler. Their performance accounted for the top finish of the weekend for the men's team and played a key role in MSU-Northern's point total.
On the women's side, the Skylights placed fifth with 55 team points, with multiple athletes contributing across events. In barrel racing, Brooklin Baukol led the way with a fifth-place finish and a time of 35.78, while Kenzie Kallenberger added a sixth-place run at 40.37.
The Skylights also picked up points in goat tying, where Tabitha Vermulm placed sixth with a time of 16.2, and Georgia Orahood followed in seventh at 15.7.
Overall, MSU-Northern saw steady production from both teams, with the Lights' team roping duo and the Skylights' depth in barrel racing and goat tying leading the way as the season progresses.
