MSU-Northern will be hosting the Frontier Conference Cross Country Championships November 6. The meet will take place at Prairie Farms Golf Course, and will begin with the presentation of colors at 11:45 p.m. The men's race will begin at 12 p.m., and the women's race will follow at 1 p.m. This is the first time that Northern has ever hosted the Frontier Cross Country Championships. Spectators will not be allowed at the event. According to Coach Chad Spangler, the opportunity to host the even has been 6 years in the making.

 "The Northern Cross-Country team is very excited to have the opportunity to host the conference championships this Friday" Spangler said. "We've looked forward to this for 6 years and we have every reason to believe it's going to be a great event.  I expect the course and the field to be very fast.  As always, the conference is loaded.  The women's side is returning 3 teams that competed very well at nationals last year and a new team from Montana Tech that is very good.  The men's race will be very hard to call as all the teams have the potential to win.  It should be very exciting" said Spangler.
