Rodeo Ink University of Montana Transfer

Montana State University-Northern head rodeo coach Doug Kallenberger has announced the signing of rodeo Junior transfer Brooklin Baukol to join the Skylights program next year.

Baukol is 5-foot-6 Barrel Racer and Breakaway Roper from Clyde Park, Montana. Brooklin is a transfer from University of Montana, where she was on the Rodeo team. She was a short go qualifier in barrel racing, breakaway roping and goat tying in multiple rodeos the last two years.

She is also a great student honored with Davidson Honor College with a GPA of 3.51.

While she is here, she will be majoring in Integrated Health Sciences. Brooklin is the daughter of Shane and Shannon Baukol.

When asked why she chose Northern he replied "I chose to transfer to MSUN because of the smaller class size and the ability to have a more personalized relationship with my professors. The Health Sciences program at MSUN will provide me with the classes needed to transfer to my graduate program. Also, the reputation of the rodeo team and coaching. At MSUN I will be surrounded by people that strive to be better, pushing me to be a better athlete and competitor in the arena and leader outside of the arena."
