Montana State University-Northern head rodeo coach Doug Kallenberger has announced the signing of rodeo to join the Freshman Harley Buchberger Skylights program next year.
Buchberger is 5-foot-4 Barrel Racer and Breakaway Roper from Indian Head Saskatchewan. She has had a successful four years in high school. In 2024, Buchberger was the Saskatchewan High School Rodeo Year end champion and season leader champion. She was also Manitoba High School Rodeo year end pole being champion in 2021. She is a two-time National Junior High School Rodeo Finals Qualifier and a five-time Canadian High School Rodeo Finals Qualifier.
While she is here, she will be majoring in Nursing. Harley is the daughter of Mark and Shannon Buchberger.
When asked why she chose Northern he replied "I chose MSUN for the opportunities it can provide students and athletes, as well as the great nursing program!"
