Montana State University-Northern head rodeo coach Doug Kallenberger has announced the signing of rodeo standout Kenzie Kallenberger to join the Skylights program next year.
Kallenberger is 5-foot-2 that participates in Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping, and Goat Tying from Big Sandy, Montana. She is a three-time Indian National Final Junior Barrel Racer Qualifier, and INFR Barrel Racer. Kenzie was also a three-time Junior Northern Rodeo Association Qualifier.
She also played basketball at Havre High for three years and was part of the Class A State Champions two of those years.
While Kallenberger is here, she will be majoring in Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Kenzie is the daughter of Doug and Emily Kallenberger, who was on the rodeo Team for Northern.
When asked why she chose Northern he replied "I chose MSUN because I wanted to stay close to home. I also really enjoy the rodeo program and thought that Northern would be the best fit for me."
