The MSU-Northern Lights and Skylights cross country teams competed at the Idaho State Meet this past weekend.

For the Lights, James Stensland-Plymale led the way, finishing 40th with a time of 24:52.0. Donovan AimsBack came in 50th at 28:48.2, followed by Wyatt Lowery in 58th with a time of 30:18.6, and Decker Hanson in 72nd with a time of 36:34.7.

The Skylights had a strong showing, finishing fifth overall, with all runners setting personal record times. Emerson Kinsella placed 53rd in 21:29.3, Elizabeth DeVries 54th in 21:59.6, Deserae Toombs 55th in 22:20.0, Makaela Kelly 56th in 22:41.1, and Kaitlyn Bancroft 57th in 22:50.1.

The Lights and Skylights will return to action this Friday in Billings.
