WHITEFISH, Mont., Nov. 11, 2019 – McKenzie Gunter of MSU-Northern was named the Frontier Conference's Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

Gunter is a 5-foot-5 junior guard from McCammon, Idaho. Northern went 2-1 for the weekend. At home, the Skylights beat No.10 Vanguard (Calif.) 68-56 and Dickinson State (N.D.) 82-45. In Missoula, Mont., Northern lost to the University of Montana 98-45 in an exhibition game.

Gunter averaged 13.7 points, four rebounds and four assists for the week. She was 14 of 28 from the field, 13 of 26, 3-point field goals and a perfect 11 of 11 from the free throw line.
