Sydney Hovde, a sophomore from Columbia Falls, Mont. was named Frontier Conference Player of the Week. Hovde helped win two conference at home including one team in the top 25. The Skylights beat No. 22 University of Providence 62-56, and Montana Tech 52-51.  

Hovde averaged 10 points and seven rebounds in the two games. She went 8-16 from the field and 4-7 from the three throw line. Hovde hit a basket to tie the game and then made her free throw to clinch the win against Montana Tech.
