WHITEFISH, Mont., Jan. 2, 2023 – Shyan Krass of MSU-Northern was selected as the Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference's Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

Krass is a 6-foot-2 Sophomore forward from Hogeland, Mont.

MSU-Northern went 3-0 in a three-game home stand. The Skylights beat Keyano University (Alberta) 74-55, St. Mary's University (Alberta) 84-67 and Lakeland College (Alberta) 64-43.

Krass had three outstanding games for the Skylights this past week. She averaged a double-double with 21 points, 11.7 rebounds, two blocks, and 1.7 assists per game. She was 27 of 43 from field (62.8 percent), 2 of 4, 3-point and 7 of 7 from free throw line. She recorded her third and fourth double-double as a Skylights this season. Against Keyano, she recorded career highs in scoring (22) and rebounding (15).
