Montana State University-Northern women's basketball coach
Chris Mouat has announced the signing of Emma Wass to join the Skylight program this fall. Wass, a 6-foot-1 post player, will have one year of eligibility remaining. She played the past three seasons at NCAA Division II Alaska-Fairbanks, and will earn a degree in Sports Management.
"Emma is a great addition for us. She understands how to play with her back to the basket and does an outstanding job on the boards" said coach Mouat. "She also has the ability to step out and shoot the ball from the perimeter. We are really excited to have her on board."
This past season, Wass averaged 9.5 points and 9 rebounds per game for the Nanooks. She shot 44 percent from the field and 67 percent from the free throw line.
