Skylights Ink North Idaho Transfer Addie Kiefer

Montana State University-Northern women's basketball coach Chris Mouat has announced the signing of Addie Kiefer to join the Skylight program this fall.  Kiefer is a 5-foot-10 forward who recently completed a two-year career at North Idaho College.

This season, Kiefer averaged 11.5 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.  She had season-highs of 29 points and 17 rebounds.  She was a Scenic West (Region 18) Player of the Week and was named a Second Team All-Conference selection.

"Addie is a very athletic forward" said Mouat. She is active in transition, finishes very well around the rim, and has the ability to drive it from the perimeter.  She runs the floor extremely well and picks up a lot of baskets in transition.  We are extremely excited to have her in a Skylight uniform.  She shot over 50 percent from the field, many times against much taller players."

Kiefer is a 2022 graduate of Lakeland High School in Rathdrum, Idaho.  She was her class valedictorian.

Mouat added, "Addie is another great addition to our program and to MSU-Northern.  She is an outstanding student with a 3.99 grade point average.  She is a big addition for us."

Addie is the daughter of Tim and Mandy Kiefer.  She plans on majoring in Integrated Health Science at MSU-Northern.
