Skylights Sign Junior College Standout HisBadHorse

Montana State University-Northern women's basketball coach Chris Mouat has announced the signing of Canzas HisBadHorse.  HisBadHorse, a 6'0" forward, comes to Northern after two standout seasons at Williston State College, where she was recently named a First-Team All-Mondak Conference selection.

Mouat said, "Canzas is a great addition to our program.  She has the ability to play both inside and out, and is a proven three-point shooter.  She can change the game on defense with her length and has very good timing blocking shots.  She is coming from successful high school and junior college programs and has had very good coaching every step of the way.  We are looking forward to her progress in a Skylight uniform."

This past season, HisBadHorse averaged 14.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.  She also blocked 53 shots and accounted for 39 steals.

HisBadHorse is a native of Lame Deer, Montana and played her high school basketball at Colstrip High School, where she helped lead the Fillies to a 2022 state Class B title.  She was an all-state selection and earned all-conference honors twice.

HisBadHorse is the daughter of Tempe One Bear and Roger HisBadHorse.  She plans on majoring in Integrated Health Science at MSU-Northern.
