The MSU-Northern Rodeo teams turned in strong performances this past weekend at the Dawson Community College Rodeo.

The Lights finished in fifth place overall, tallying 140 total points. Talan Cummins and Clayton Three Irons both earned fourth-place finishes in team roping, with Cummins competing as a header and Three Irons as a heeler, each recording a time of 8.6.

On the women's side, the Skylights had an impressive showing, securing third place with 230 total points. Cayda Dodgeinghorse led the way, claiming first place in barrel racing with a winning time of 34.68. The Skylights also shined in goat tying, where three athletes placed in the top five. Cassandra Gibson finished third (13.8), followed closely by Kenda Statham in fourth (14.3), while Tabitha Vermulm added a fifth-place finish (15.9).

MSU-Northern will close out its fall season at Montana Western on September 26–27.
